The Majesty

Sts. Peter and Paul Church, North Beach, San Francisco (Photo: David Ryan)

Churches and cathedrals have given me as much photographic inspiraton and enjoyment as any other subject I could name, except for pretty girls of course. They are always standouts in any city and beg for detailed scrutiny, both inside and out.

This particular cathedral I only photographed a few times, even though I was seventeen years in San Francisco. Lots of competition for my photographic attention, I guess.

It occurs to me that this subject would be a great idea for a dedicated and extended post. I will do it so standby!
